Hello, my name is Natarsha (please call me Tash! she/her). I am currently completing a placement for my Diploma of Mental Health. With only this placement and a few final assessments remaining, I am nearing the completion of my formal qualification.

My professional aspiration is to further study then serve as a social worker, whilst working as a mental health peer support worker. I am particularly drawn to the diverse fields within mental health and am eager to continue expanding my expertise.

I have held a lifelong fascination with psychology, spanning my entire educational journey from primary school through to University and TAFE. I am especially captivated by the intricate functions and mechanics of the human brain.

I also possess a deep passion for mental health and neurodiversity, informed by my own lived experience as a neurodivergent individual. My commitment to this field began over 15 years ago when I first sought support for my own mental health. Since then, I have thrived, gaining a profound understanding of the recovery journey. I am now dedicated to giving back to the community that supported me. Joining Phoenix Wings Wellness feels like a natural progression, providing me with the opportunity to grow, excel, and help others reach their own new heights.

Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy creative pursuits like sketching and art therapy, often using art as a medium for emotional expression. I am an animal lover, a supporter of the Geelong Football Club, and an enthusiast for cooking. Additionally, I bring a Croatian and Serbian cultural background and possess basic skills in Auslan, which I am eager to refresh if it can benefit our community.

A few fun facts about me:

  • My Border Collie (Tippy) lived to be 18.5yrs old.

  • I have over 30 different tattoo pieces all over my body

  • I got to the Australian State Finals and represented the top 15 Scholastic Students for Victoria in the NYSF (The National Youth Science Forum) Program in 2009.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

Best regards, Tash
