I'm a social worker, therapist and fitness coach, and I genuinely believe that there isn't one "right" way to heal. People are wonderfully complex, and sometimes the approaches we're offered don't quite fit. My work is about getting curious about you and how you experience the world, what has shaped you, what your body and nervous system might be communicating, and what you need to feel safe, supported and more like yourself.

I draw from a range of approaches, including polyvagal theory and somatic therapies (understanding how your nervous system responds to stress, and working with the body as well as the mind), alongside DBT, CBT and talk therapy. I also love incorporating movement, creativity, and play into therapeutic work when these feel like a better fit. Sometimes healing happens through talking, sometimes through moving, creating, learning a new skill, understanding your nervous system, or simply having someone alongside you while you figure things out.

A big part of my work is helping people build their own toolkit for life, practical skills that can be used outside the therapy room, during the messy, challenging and wonderful parts of everyday life. Together, we might work on emotional regulation, building capacity, developing confidence and life skills, navigating relationships, managing overwhelm, reconnecting with your body, or finding ways to support both your physical and mental wellbeing.

I work with people across the lifespan and with a wide range of mental health experiences, disability and neurodivergence, and I particularly value working with people who feel that they need a different way of healing.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you need, and you certainly don't need to have everything figured out. We can start where you are, work at your pace, and find approaches that make sense for you.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me exploring in my 4x4, out on a trail run or paddleboard, or being dragged along by my German Shepherd.
