Committed to improving our communities’ mental health through individual counselling, group therapy, and well-being workshops in Albury/Wodonga, Corowa, and Wagga Wagga, the Phoenix Wings Wellness team is passionate about walking alongside clients on their journey, supporting them to process life and express themselves; and learn strategies and techniques to manage their mental health through evidence-based practice.

With a particular focus on using mindful creative expression and creative arts therapies, we work across the lifespan with special interests in working with the LGBTQIA+ population and neurodivergent people, or anyone that doesn’t fit the norm.

Interventions range from expressive arts therapies, cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapies, interpersonal psychotherapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and strength-based, solution-focused interventions.

Our team can assist with a range of challenges:

  • Depression

  • Trauma, Grief & Loss

  • Anxiety & Stress Management

  • Neurodivergent people, including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Gender Identity

  • Relationship Difficulties & Family Separation

  • Mediation

  • Anger Management

  • Parenting Support

  • Blended family concerns

  • School attendance or school-related concerns

We would like to acknowledge traditional owners
across the lands where Phoenix Wings Wellness operates,
and pay our respects to Australia’s First Peoples,
the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people,
their elders past, present, and emerging,
for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hope of Aboriginal Australia;
and we commit to the ongoing work of
regeneration, reparation, responsibility, reciprocity, and relationality
(reconciliation implies that there was once a good relationship
between First Nations and white Australia, so we don't use that word);
and to any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families within our networks.
We acknowledge that we live and work on the un-ceded land of the Wiradjuri people.

Phoenix Wings Wellness recognises:
that family structures are diverse,
including blended families, co-parents, rainbow families, step parents,
foster parents, adoptive parents, grandparents, extended family members,
friends, carers, and guardians.
We appreciate and respect that:
many people experience multiple diversities,
including race, sexuality, gender, faith, cultural, and people of all abilities.
We hope to provide your family with the support and
information you may require for you and your families to grow and thrive.
