Andrea (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker with extensive experience working with children and young people in areas of mental health and behavioural issues, individually and in group-based contexts.

Andrea approaches working with children and young people holistically and utilises a range of therapeutic interventions including evidence based cognitive behavioural therapy, art and play therapy, brief solution focused therapy, trauma informed, strength-based practice (sees clients Tuesday afternoons).

Andrea believes in comprehensive assessment to establish and explore the underlying origin of difficulties, and prefers to work collaboratively with parents and carers to establish and maintain beneficial therapeutic interventions.

Outside of work life, Andrea enjoys spending time with her extended family, being outdoors and in the garden, and caring for animals.
