Introducing Hannah (she/her), a compassionate mental health clinician and advocate dedicated to offering individual therapy work for children and young people experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties. With over 12 years of industry experience and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Charles Sturt University, I am excited to embark on this journey of transforming lives (sees clients Wednesdays and every second Saturday).
At Big Feelings Little Minds, I create a nurturing and safe environment where children and young people can openly express their emotions and overcome challenges. I tailor my approach to each individual's unique needs and goals.
Establishing trust and rapport is of utmost importance to me. I believe in cultivating a strong therapeutic alliance, which forms the foundation for growth and healing. Drawing on my wealth of experience, I navigate complex mental health issues with expertise and compassion, providing unwavering support to those in need.
I am committed to continuous professional development, ensuring that I stay informed about evidence-based therapies and emerging research. I use interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and trauma-informed approaches and I am equipped to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral difficulties with efficacy and sensitivity.
Beyond my clinical expertise, I value the power of genuine connection. I strive to build authentic relationships with my clients and their families, recognizing the importance of involving the entire support network in the therapeutic process.
