Maree (she/her) is a registered social worker and mental health clinician who has extensive experience working with adults, children, and young people.  Having worked in the community service sector for 10 years, Maree has developed a passion for expressive art therapy and incorporates this into her practice alongside other therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance commitment therapy and strength-based therapy to name a few.

Maree’s practice is guided by her clients, placing them at the centre and supporting them in achieving their goals.  Maree believes that everyone is capable of change, and by offering therapeutic strategies and different ways of seeing, the ability to take back control of their lives is possible.

Maree’s practice is trauma informed, and it is important to her that her clients feel safe to share their story. Trust, respect, and honesty are cornerstone values that guides Maree’s practice as she works towards attaining her mental health social work accreditation.

When not at work, Maree enjoys dabbling with paint and is the first to admit that she has lots to learn.  Family is important to Maree, and she enjoys spending time with her children and is constantly amazed at what they can to teach her.
