Neurodiversity at work: a full day professional development workshop
Our first public pilot workshop is on Wednesday 2 December 2026. [See details and register below.]
Every workplace already has neurodivergent people in it, whether or not anyone has said so. This workshop helps you understand what neurodiversity looks like at work, why so many people mask, and what makes a team feel safe enough to stop. It’s practical, grounded in clinical and lived experience, and built around the people you work with.
It’s open to organisations, teams and individuals. Come on your own or bring colleagues. We’re an Albury-based team, proud to bring this work to regional and rural workplaces.
What the day covers
What neurodiversity is, including neurotypical, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Bipolar disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), and the history behind how they’ve been understood
Shame, stigma and masking, why masking happens and what it costs
What you may see at work: overwhelm, sensory needs, processing differences and communication styles
Practical, person-centred strategies for communication, role clarity and onboarding
Psychological safety and how emotional states move through a workplace
A plan for applying what you’ve learned with your own team
The day is led by two facilitators (Melanie Kilo and Renee Simmons) and includes a workbook with space for reflection and for your plan. If you’re after a session for your own team, at your workplace or online, see our Professional Development for Teams.
Next workshop: Pilot Day
Wednesday 2 December 2026
9:30am to 4:30pm
Phoenix Wings Wellness, Albury
Up to 20 places
Pilot fee: $200 per person, including GST
This is our first public workshop, and we’re running it as a pilot. It covers the same content as our full day program at a reduced fee. In return, we ask for your honest feedback. You’ll complete a short form as part of your registration so we can tailor the session to the group, and another at the end so we can see what worked and what to improve. Your input will directly shape how we deliver Transform and Belong going forward.
How registration works
Each person registers separately, because everyone completes a short set of questions as part of the registration process. Registrations close on Wednesday 25 November 2026. After you register, we’ll email you an invoice. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice being emailed, and your place is confirmed once payment is received.
If you can’t make it, we’ll refund your fee in full with 14 days’ notice or more (by Wednesday 18 November). With less notice, we’ll credit it to our February 2027 workshop.
If you have any access or support needs, let us know on the form and we’ll be in touch before the day.
Coming up
